Music for 1s and 2s
Wednesdays 10:30am – 11:30am
Ages: 10 – 24 months with parent/caregiver
Add musical play to your fall schedule. High energy exploration keeps active toddlers engaged as they sample hand-held instruments, experience contrasting sounds and motions, and sensory items. Through repetition, rhythmic play and concrete, seasonal themes your child will build language skills, large motor, and social-emotional skills. Join us each semester for new songs, instruments and musical play activities. Music for 1s and 2s prepares your toddler for Music for 2s and 3s.

Music for 2s and 3s
Saturdays: 9:00am – 10:00am, 10:15am – 11:15am, 11:30am – 12:30pm
Ages: 2 – 3 with parent/caregiver
This fall, enjoy fast-paced, seasonal musical activities emphasizing singing, rhythmic instrument play, movement and internalization of steady beat with your toddler. Musical play with toddlers can build impulse control skills, fine motor skills, increase vocabulary, pre-math skills and much more. Join us each semester for new songs, instruments to explore, and new themes! Music for 2s and 3s prepares your child for Music for 3s and 4s, Suzuki Stars and Musical Trolley.

Suzuki Stars
Wednesdays: 9:15am – 10:05am
Ages: 3 – 5 with parent/caregiver
If your family is interested in our Suzuki Talent Education program, this class is for you. Through MacPhail’s renowned, play-based early childhood music curriculum, you and your child will build music readiness skills specific to prepare for success in our Suzuki program. Activities will focus on vocal development, steady beat, and exposure to Suzuki repertoire and instruments such as the guitar, harp, piano, cello, viola and violin. Join us each semester for new songs, and musical activities to continue to build pre-instrument, and early theory skills. Suzuki Stars prepares your child for Suzuki lessons and Musical Trolley.

Musical Bridges Instrument Sampler
Saturdays: 1:00pm – 1:55pm and 2:00pm – 2:55pm
Ages: 7 – 10, child independent
Do you have a blossoming music student who is interested in music, but don’t know which instrument to start with? MacPhail’s Musical Bridges is the perfect place to start! This class offers students ages 7-10 the opportunity to try out several instruments to see which one clicks. Instruments include piano, voice, ukulele, percussion, and strings. Students will have a hands-on chance to learn and play the basic rudiments in a fun and engaging environment with a MacPhail faculty member. This class is ideal for students who are graduating from MacPhail’s Sing Play Learn classes and are now ready for lessons!

Piano Lessons

Individual piano lessons are student-centered to develop personalized musical and technical skills. Musical Story Times
Thursdays: 9:45am – 10:15am
Ages: 6 weeks – 4 years with parent/caregiver
Enhance your child’s brain through engaging musical stories and sensory experiences. Musical activities include singing, rhythmic instrument play, movement, chants, wiggles and giggles. You and your little ones will engage in hands-on musical play that will reinforce all areas of development, as well as have fun making music together through the magic of musical stories!

Music for Families

This multi-age experience for families promotes music awareness and appreciation through the various integrated arts activities based on seasonal themes. The lively class meets the varied needs of each child. Through the power of music children develop social skills, body control, increased attention spans, and an appreciation of music.
